“He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” Then they remembered his words – Luke 24:7, 8, NKJV.
The empty tomb is reason for us to rejoice today. Our Lord and Savior is risen. One day, other tombs will be empty because Jesus promised that, “everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:40, NKJV).
