The poor shall eat and be satisfied – Psalm 22:26
He will rescue the poor when they cry to him;
he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them.
13 He feels pity for the weak and the needy,
and he will rescue them.
14 He will redeem them from oppression and violence,
for their lives are precious to him.(Psalm 72:12-14, NLT)
Blessed be the poor and needy for they have a loving and merciful God who takes care of them. He delivers them from their troubles and those who oppress and commit violence against them. The Lord God Almighty is their Helper and Redeemer. He is their Provider and Savior.
The poor and needy will be physically and spiritually satisfied by the God “who alone does such wonderful things” (verse 18, NLT).
