Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baca, They make it a spring; The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion (Psalm 84:5-7, NKJV).
Our strength lies in the power of God’s Word and His Spirit. Our strength is in our dependence on Him. Since God is our Strength, it doesn’t matter what we are going through. It doesn’t mean that we are to be helpless when we are in the valley. We can still do something as we wait for God. The valley is a place of uncertainty but it can also be a place of possibilities with God’s help.
