Why would anyone be ashamed of the Gospel of Christ which is the good news that we have a Savior who died for our sins? It is the sort of thing that a child of God would want to proclaim–to share with others. Those who hear the Gospel and believe are saved. It is the power of God who “patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). And how could people repent unless they hear the Gospel?
Like Paul, let us not be ashamed of the Gospel but share it with others. It is what God wants His children to do. There are many people out there in the world who don’t know Christ. They need to know that God loves them and wants them to spend eternity with Him and this is only possible through His Son. The Gospel is not only the power of God because through it many are saved but it is a message of hope and love. Is there someone you know who needs to hear the message of salvation? People need to know that salvation is for everyone.
