God does not tempt us because He Himself cannot be tempted by evil. When we give into temptation, it is by choice and not by force. The devil can only tempt us but he cannot force us to sin. Sinning is a choice but don’t lose hope when you do. We have this promise from the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more” (Jeremiah 31:34, King James Version).
