Bumping into Mr. Kyriaku

PHOTO PROMPT © Trish Nankeville

“Are you thinking of buying the plant, Ms. Sambu?”

Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Mr. Kyriaku standing there. “No.”

“Very unusual looking, isn’t it?”

“Yes.”

“Is something the matter?”

“No.”

“Are you still embarrassed about seeing me naked?”

She lowered her eyes and nodded. “Yes.”

“I didn’t expect to see you by the pool. I thought you’d be waiting in the music room. I stayed in the water for as long as possible to give you a chance to leave so that I could come out.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Let’s forget about it and go for lunch.”

    • I guess he wanted her to stop thinking about it because it made her feel embarrassed and he probably thought that lunch would help to put her at ease. He didn’t intend for her to see him naked. She was supposed to be waiting for him in the music room for her piano lesson but she went to the swimming pool instead. He stayed in the water for as long he could, thinking she would leave, but, she didn’t.
So, he had to get out and well…she got an eyeful. Thanks, Isadora 🙂 You have yourself a good weekend too.
