To celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, Asif and I are on a Halal trip. We’re visiting the Alcazar of Seville, the oldest palace in Europe and the most beautiful in Spain. Castilian Christians built it on a residential fortress for the Christian king Peter of Castile. The gardens are breathtaking. The only downside is that there aren’t any prayer facilities on the palace premises but another tourist tells us about the Macarena Quarter where there are mosques.
