My name’s Rune. It’s a Scandinavian name which means “secret”. Women find it intriguing because they associate it with folklore and mystery. They are drawn to me like flies to honey.
I take advantage of their infatuations and frivolous attentions. They are foolish, lonely and gullible women who lap up my declarations of love. Some are widowed, others are engaged, and others are unattached while others are married. It doesn’t matter who they are, they all believe in my love and fidelity.
Then, something unforeseen happens. One by one, they vow that they shall ruin me.

Very interesting. As I first read this before seeing the pic, I took the name Rune as feminine. Then, when I saw the pic and read the last line I thought, ‘oh, honey is not the only thing flies are attracted to.’ Well done.

I googled the word, Rune and saw that it could be a masculine and feminine name so, I decided to write about a gentleman with the name. Thanks, Bill 🙂
