Alecia sat there with a radiant smile on her face. She still couldn’t believe that today was her wedding day. Daxon had popped the question one night after dinner. After she said yes and they hugged and ended up making out on the sofa, she called Daryl as soon as Daxon left.
“You’re not going to believe what happened tonight,” she said to him.
“Wait, let me guess. He popped the question?”
“Yes, he did!”
“Congratulations! I’m thrilled for you. So, when’s the big day?”
“I’m invited, right?”
“Of course! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be engaged!”
“I’m sure sooner or later, you two would have worked things out but I’m glad that I was somewhat instrumental in your happiness.”
“Now, I just have to buy a wedding dress, figure out who I’ll ask to be my bridesmaids, the place for the reception, the menu and–“
“I’m sure you and he will have everything under control. Don’t get stressed out over the planning. If you need any help I’m just a phone call away.”
“By the way, Brandi and I are back together.”
“How come? I thought you said she was too possessive and clingy.”
“That’s how I felt until I saw her having lunch with another man.”
“Oh oh. What did you do?”
“I went over to their table and she introduced us. He was her cousin visiting from New York. I can’t tell you how relieved I was and that’s when I knew that I wanted to get back with her. Fortunately for me, she wanted to resume our relationship too.”
“Well, I’m happy for you. Bring her to the wedding.”
They chatted for a while and then, they ended the call. She sat there for a while still trying to digest the fact that she was engaged. Now, she sat in front of the mirror about to apply her makeup. Before she did that, she admired her engagement ring. It was exquisite and expensive looking. She removed it to look at the engraved words, Forever Yours for the umpteenth time. Tears sprang to her eyes.
Before he had proposed, he said, “I love you,” while gazing into her eyes, making her heart melt. Her response was, “I love you too,” before she kissed him. Things got heated pretty fast and after a while, he broke off the kiss, his face flushed and his breathing heavy, to get down on his knees.
“Alecia, stop daydreaming. You have a wedding to go to, remember?” Her friend, Olive’s voice interrupted her thoughts.
Alecia slipped the ring back on. She reached for a tissue and dabbed her eyes. “Yes, I have a wedding to go to.”
“Now, don’t you get me started,” Olive scolded her when she saw her wiping her eyes. “Finish putting on your makeup and then, we’ll get you into that gorgeous dress.”
A half hour later, she was walking down the aisle with her father, her heart racing with excitement. The big moment was finally here–she was about to marry the man of her dreams. He stood there next to his best man, watching her, looking so handsome in his wedding suit.
They faced each other, exchanged vows and rings. After they were pronounced husband and wife, they kissed. Then, they were making their way down the aisle holding hands and laughing as they were barraged with good wishes. It was off to the reception where they and their guests were treated to an unforgettable night of celebration and sumptuous cuisine. Their first dance as a married couple was The Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody.
When Alecia threw her bouquet and Brandi caught it, she said teasingly to Daryl when they were dancing, “It looks like Brandi and you will be next.”
“I just got back with the woman and already you’re marrying us.”
Alecia laughed. “Just make sure you invite Daxon and me to the wedding.”
The party ended around 10:30 and an hour later, the newlyweds were letting themselves into Daxon’s beach house which was now Alecia’s new home. He picked her up and carried her over the threshold and upstairs to the master bedroom. He kissed her before he set her down. She let him use the bathroom first while she got undressed. She put on her dressing-gown and removed from one of the drawers the sexy black negligee she had bought for tonight.
When, he came back into bedroom, she went into the bathroom. After washing her face and brushing her teeth, she took off the dressing-gown and changed into the negligee which flattered her figure. She checked herself in the mirror before turning off the light.
She went into the bedroom and her heart skipped a beat when she saw Daxon lying there on the bed buck naked. He was on his side with his head propped up, looking so yummy that she couldn’t stand it. She went over to the bed and climbed in, turning onto her side so that she was facing him. He rolled on to his back and reaching up, he pulled her head down so that they could kiss.
They exchanged passionate kisses for a while and then, she broke off the kiss to press her lips against his neck, eliciting a moan before she pressed little hungry kisses down his heaving chest and stomach. Reaching down, he grasped her by the head, pulled her up so that he could devour her mouth.
She kissed him back wildly and then, they rolled over so that she was lying on her back and he was kissing every inch of her, driving her mad. She moaned when she felt his mouth on her nipples and she clutched his head, her nails digging into his scalp. He broke free so that he could kiss her stomach and parting her legs, he buried his face between them making her writhe against him until she came.
Breathing harshly, he raised his head. He was extremely aroused. He positioned himself between her legs and they both grunted when he thrust himself inside her. She gripped his arms, closing her eyes she succumbed to the pleasure which only he could give her. The love-making lasted for a while. It was intense, mind-blowing and vigorous. When it was over, they lay there, panting and sated. She kissed him on his damp forehead and they fell asleep with him still on top of her.
The following day, they left for their honeymoon in Sardinia, Italy.
