Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. Save, Lord! May the King answer us when we call – Psalm 20:7, 9
In times of trouble, we call on the Lord who will answer us and send help. He will strengthen us. It is He who delivers us from our troubles. Always trust in the Lord who helps, saves and defends.
Amen!
At this time in my life, I needed to hear this. My husband of 20 years died suddenly 2 weeks ago. Trust is all i have left. it is all that is holding me together.
i find it incredible, how so many, so much of the time , take Trust for granted, and seldom taught about. As if it weer an easy thing to do…but its not.
For me, right now, its one of the hardest things im having to Re-learn. because Trust is often something we must learn, brand new, every day, because situations change, and God doesn’t.
Sometimes trying to keep those two thoughts straight, and understand the consistency,in the chaos, is the hardest lesson we must learn.
But once you let go of trying to ndestand, and control what is happening IN you, Trust, becomes Peace. And that is where my journy in the learning is taking me now.

Thank you so much for the reminder, and may God Bless You Abundantly!

I’m so sorry to hear about your husband’s sudden death. May he rest in peace. After being blessed with 20 years of marriage, I can’t imagine how tough it must be for you. Yes, trust in the Lord is what will hold you together, especially during those moments when the loss is so acute.
Trust means letting go and letting God be in control. It means as you rightly said, not trying to understand or to control what is happening. Continue to trust in the Lord who will never leave you nor forsake you, the Lord who knows what it’s like to lose a loved one and who will one wipe away your tears.
I’m so thankful that this message was something you needed to hear. May God bless you and keep you.
