Charlotte bristled when she walked into the living-room and saw her fiancé, Avery taking selfies. Seriously, Dude? She’d a good mind to chuck his phone. He spent more time with it than with her. She had herself to blame, though because she’d encouraged him to get the darn thing.
He turned around and seemed startled to see her. “You’re back.”
“Yes. You seem surprised.”
“I thought you’d be back tomorrow.”
“No, I told you I’d be back today.”
“Oh.”
“Did you have a woman here while I was away?”
“No.”
“Then, whose Pashmina wrap is this?”
“Isn’t it yours?”
“No!”

Dear Adele,
He’s going to have to do better than that. With his phone addiction how’d he have time for another woman? 😉

Dear Rochelle,
You’re right, he will have to come up with something better than that. And I have no idea how he has time for another woman.

She’ll want a look at his phone methinks. I’m sure it won’t be filled with solo selfies!

Methinks you’re right, Keith. There will be more than selfies on the phone.

She should check his phone. At least she’ll find the evidence to kick him out. So sad!

Mobile telephone addiction is so common, I am sure there will be a rehab centre open soon. You have written a nice story that illustrates the point very well.

In the past, people seemed to fare well without cell phones. Now, they can’t seem to do without them.
Yes, they should have a rehab for cell phone addiction. Thanks, James.

I think those two things plus the Pashmina will get him in serious trouble.

Oh oh, there’s nothing harder to explain away than a stray pashmina wrap.
