Lunch For Two

As he waited for his orders of veggie Hot Dogs, he thought how smart he had been to come before noon to avoid the crowd.  The parking lot was virtually empty.

Grabbing the bags, he turned to leave and spotted Aimee heading towards him.  Drat.  Of all the people…

“Hello, Siran.”

“Hello, Aimee.”

“What are you doing here?”

“Grabbing lunch.”

She looked at the bags. “Lunch for two?”

“Yes.”

“So, who is she?”

“Sorry, Aimee, gotta run.” And he rushed off.

She didn’t need to know that he was having lunch with his brother’s ex-girlfriend.

    • Dear Rochelle,

Yes, you’re right about Siran. He doesn’t want their relationship to be public knowledge until he has spoken to his brother about it. Thanks 🙂

      Shalom,
      Adele
