The Idolatrous King

Beguiled by her beauty, King Ahab of Israel married Jezebel, daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Sidonians.  She turned him away from worshipping and serving the God of his fathers to worshipping and serving her god, Baal. 

King Ahab is remembered as a cruel and idolatrous king whose life ended ingloriously.
