The situation was dire. Only she could save her people from Haman’s evil plans. In a fit of rage, he plotted to destroy the Jews because of her uncle, Mordecai who refused to pay him homage. No one knew that she was a Jew. She was forced to reveal her identity now in order to prevent a Holocaust.
