“You can’t be serious!”

Gotta live your own life. Father and child will get over this wrangle.

Yes, the son is old enough. Hopefully, the father will come around when he sees how happy wrangling makes his son.

Dear Adele,
Children need to live their own lives rather than up to their parent’s expectations or wishes. Nicely done.

Dear Rochelle,
You’re right. My mother used to say that you make the child but you don’t make the mind. Even if you don’t approve of their choices or support their decisions, you have to let them live their lives.
Shalom,
Adele

Parents need to let their children be who they need to be… so hard.

You’re right, Dale. Parents need to do that but it’s really hard to let go.

After all, we had to watch them fall as they learned to walk, didn’t we?

Exactly! And our parents had to do the same with us. It isn’t until you become a parent that you really begin to appreciate your parents and all that they had to go through to raise us as best as they could.
