Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! (Psalm 103:1)

How do we bless the Lord? We bless Him through praise and worship. We praise Him with our hearts, minds and spirits because He is holy and for the goodness He has shown toward us. And we worship Him because He is the one, true living God. And He delights in our worship. Every time we praise and worship Him, we are declaring, “For You are great, and do wondrous things” (Psalm 86:10).
Amen 🙏

Hmm I don’t think of God as a narcissist that needs praise. I myself choose to praise God by showing love and kindness (being human, I don’t always succeed). This daily resolve to do so I think may mean more to God than constant praise. This is my humble opinion. 😊❣️

There’s no narcissism on God’s part for delighting in our praise and He deserves it simply for who He is. We can praise Him in many ways and one of them is showing love and kindness to others. Whenever Jesus healed people, their response was to praise the Father.
