“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you – Jeremiah 32:17, NIV
How comforting it is to know that nothing is hard too for God. There are times when we are overwhelmed by problems, in the midst of trials and struggling with temptation. God is bigger than all of these things.
It’s easier said than done to focus on Him and not what we are going through. Yet, that’s what God wants us to do. He wants us to look to Him. And when we do, we find strength and comfort. Trust God to take you through the valley. He who made the heavens and the earth will bring you out of the miry clay and and set your feet upon a rock which is Him (Psalm 40:2). He will set feet in a wide place where you can now rejoice in His mercy, thank Him for His faithfulness and goodness toward you. This is a place where you will ever see His loving-kindness.
