Hurts and Disappointments

When we are hurt, offended, we should take the matter to God and leave it with Him.  He will take care of it as He promised.

“I will contend with those who contend with you.” Psalm 35:1

We are told to let go of the past and old disappointments and hurts.

“Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past.  Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?  I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19

The next time you face disappointment, remember this promise, “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11.
