The church I used to attend was modest and welcoming. I always experienced joy when I entered through those doors and was greeted with warm and friendly smiles as I was handed the bulletin. I couldn’t wait to take my seat and be a part of the worship service. Outside it could be sunny or raining cats and dogs or snowing. No matter the weather, we were in the Lord’s sanctuary and in His loving presence. Now imagine what it would be like not to have a church building with nice comfortable seats. Instead you are sitting under a tree. And this is even during the rainy season. This is the reality for believers in South Asia.
